Every child is an artist

Every child is an artist

I was reminded of this quote and thought this happens with more than just art. This quote can apply to all aspects of our lives.

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.
— Pablo Picasso

How many times have you held back from showing your true self? When was the last time you didn’t second-guess yourself? How often do you take a chance without calculating risks?

All of those things come with being an adult, and I’m not saying being responsible is wrong, but don't be so cautious that it impedes you from doing anything at all.

I’ll be honest and tell you that it happens to me every time I hit publish on a new episode or share work online. I question everything at that moment.

But I refuse to live that way.

A child is innocent. They have an ignorance that allows them to dream. They're free of constraints, fears, and nagging reminders of how things should be done. They're artists free to live and create.
