Twitter: Introducing the Follow Button

Twitter introduced their new Follow button yesterday which follows the same guidelines and style as their existing “Tweet” button.

I like it. It’s clean, simple and now very easy for visitors of any website to follow you without having to leave your page.

Check it out! I placed mine at the top of the sidebar to your left. And please be sure to follow me if you aren’t already.

Another acquisition by Twitter. Someone (Jack Dorsey) has definitely flipped the light switch on at Twitter.

Let’s make some money, boys.

Apple to Unveil Next Generation Software at Keynote Address

Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS® X; iOS 5, the next version of Apple’s advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®; and iCloud®, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.

Finally! Lion and iOS 5 will both be major releases, but no matter how good they are, nothing will compare with the possible affects that iCloud could potentially have on the market.

Will iCloud replace Dropbox for all of our file/app syncing needs- which we all love and support?

How worried should Amazon and Google be for their cloud music players?

I guess we’ll find out June 6th at the Keynote Address.

Twitter Is Launching Its Own Photosharing Service

Another good move by Twitter in my opinion. I know that many people are annoyed at the recent changes, but I am very much looking forward to this being the first steps in showing that Twitter has finally gotten a clue as to how to make money, do it efficiently and improve the service. If I’m right, all of these changes will bring new Pro tools/features for paid users and keep crap like the Dick bar away from regular users. I’m sure the picture sharing service (or video in the future) will be welcomed additions.
